I launched The Story Catalyst in 2015 because I wanted a better life_for me as a writer, for me as a mother, for me as a daughter. It had been two years since my mother died, and I knew she wanted better for me: She wanted me to be a writer, standing on my own. I knew I wanted a better life for my twins, who were 16 at the time and needed to see a brighter future.

I also knew there were many writers like you who have something to say. You only need to know that someone believes in you and it’s worth saying. It will matter to someone.

So, here I am. The Story Catalyst, helping people live the life written!
